Be careful. Many such ‘services’ that advertise in newspapers are rackets. They advertise that they will pickup your junk (or still running) car FREE but when you call them they’ll say there’s a ‘charge’ usually about fifty bucks. I believe the ‘charities’ they claim to represent (assuming they exist) receive little or nil – and the junkyards make a fortune off the parts!
