Selling a 1988 or 1989 BMW Junk Car, what’s a fair price?
A reader asks…
I have a junk car that’s been sitting in my yard for quite sometime. Today a guy knocked on my door inquiring about buying either a 1988 or 1989 BMW 325 (not sure what year it is). It’s a two door. What is a fair price for a junk BMW 325. Anything is better than nothing, but I want to get the most out of the deal.
Also I don’t have the title and have no idea where it is. Do most junk buyers need me to sign over the title?

You can go online and find out how to Sell You Junk Car. Just fill out the form. They’ll make you an offer and you’re under no obligation to accept it. AND, they’ll haul it away for free and without DMV papers.
I just sold a wrecked 90 535 BMW last week to a salvage yard for $300. I talked to a friend of mine in the autobody business and he said that was a fair price.
Well, if anything is better than nothing, and its just sitting in the front yard, and the guy is offering to take it from your yard and give you money for it, perhaps let him make an offer.
Id be inclined to accept anywhere from $50 – $500, but, it depends how badly you want it gone, or if you intend to do anything with it.
300-400
