I have a junk car that I want to sell for parts. Any tips – I’ve never done this before? It no longer runs and has body damage primarily cosmetic. It can probably be repaired but it would be more money than I’m willing to spend on it. I just kinda want to get rid of it and forget it. The loan is paid for and I have the title.

1) If you have the room to just let it sit there and part it out, it’s going to take some effort to advertise it and then answer calls.
2) You could just recycle your junk car and have it towed away for free. Easy online form submission.
3) You could sell your junk car and get a few offers. You might end up getting more for it than parting it out and hoping someone needs the parts you have. Fill out a simple online form to request bids. You don’t have to accept any offers, but it you do, they’ll tow it away for free.
Both options 2 & 3 are available across the US and Canada.
