A reader asks…
My car was totaled 2 months ago. It’s in storage, and I want to get rid of it because I CAN’T POSSIBLY pay for storage any longer. I am still faithfully making my payments on the car.
PLEASE someone tell me which pocket I am expected to keep this car in?

If you were financing then you should have had full coverage insurance and the car should have been paid off by your insurance company regardless of who was at fault. Im not sure of your circumstances but if for some reason the car was not paid off maybe you should take into consideration taking out a personal loan to pay off the car loan. I suggest this because usually you must still have the car to keep the car loan open. You must tell your car insurance that the car was totaled. You need to call the finance company that the car was totaled. You need to explain your circumstances in more detail to get a more sufficient answer.
